Ring Type Joint Gaskets (RTJ) are precision-machined, solid metallic sealing rings engineered for high-pressure, high-temperature flanged connections. They seat into matching grooved RTJ flanges and, as the flanges are bolted together, the gasket material being slightly softer than the flange plastically deforms and coins into the groove walls to form a leak-proof metal-to-metal seal.
